I love to use my wide-angle lens for capturing interesting foreground subjects but also to get an interesting background with cool lighting. These trees are awesome and I am going to snap them again very soon. Enjoy!

Hey...I just read up on HDR ....very cool....probably would force me to get a new computer (5 years old)

Thanks for asking Michael! This is an HDR of at least 3 exposures which I combined in PhotomatixPro, then tweaked the resulting image in Lightroom, adding highlights and brightening here and there. I also took this banyan tree and used it in a composite image with a sunrise as the background. Quite fun! Celebrate life, Debra

I agree with removing the 'pole' which is really a very tall palm tree. I tried in PS but was not very successful, so I put it back in. I can retry using content aware and selecting it and see if that works. Thanks all! Celebrate life, Debra

Thanks all! I think that anyone can stand at the side of a mountain or ocean and snap a pretty scene, but I am always looking for interesting foreground subjects to make the image special...
