Yes i felt that way too but i worked my way up from Gimp to Photoshop.

Thank you Kristie, is used an old Panasonic camera that has a thin IR filter and used a 720nm IR filter to take the image. Make sure to use a tripod. Then post process in photoshop to get your colors to look something similar. I hear that if you mod your camera especially a DSLr the images come out alot better. The IR images tend to come out noise. Best place to learn is YouTube best free education site ever. Good Luck!
