Thanks Nickie. I remember being really humbled by this woman. Despite the terrible ostracism she encountered, she still wore her pretty earrings. There was a terrific human defiance about that, it seemed to me and real heart-breaking courage.

All of the photos you took in India are extremely impressive! But I have to say this one is probably my favourite. The composition is interesting, and the texture is brilliantly captured.
