Have you tried Nik software's Dfine 2.0?  I think you can get a trial version, and it would clear up alot of that background noise.  Just a thought!

Thank you John for yuor comment on this photo. The biggest problem with the ISO is wrong when you look at the print you can the gran in the pic.
