Simply amazing!! I missed it.  because I had to be in to work at 6:00 a.m not to mention but I don't think I could have ever captured that as nicely as you have.  What lenses did you use?  I only have Nikon d3100 with the 18-55 mm & 55-200mm lenses. I am also pretty new to DSLR and photography all together.

Great capture and wonderful composition. I was looking forward to seeing the eclipse, but it was overcast and raining in northern California (not unusual this time of year). :(

@Adin - I just shot it with my tripod. I shot at ISO 100, f/5.6, and shutter speed around 4secs

Great shot! I would love to hear the details as to how you captured this. I was up at 2+AM and saw this, but could not capture it like this. Awesome!
