I like your treatment Don. The tree is a great subject for low-lighting silhouettes. Try it next time, if you get back there, getting your tripod lower so that you get less dark ground and more sky behind the tree. Unless you get more detail in the foreground, giving it that much play is wasted. Also, watch your horizon level (unless that is a slight hill behind). Hope you are open to constructive criticism.
