Very well thought out Robert! I am afraid I often forget about using gels. I just started getting into multiple off camera flashes and I have a lot to learn! Unfortunately there is a couple of inches of snow here so I wont be doing any outside swim shots!!! Again, nice work and thanks for the information.

Oh, such nice words David! Thanks! Well, Joe McNally is one of my favourite and most inspiring photographers. This was taken with an old D80 body, 1/60th of second at f2.8. Two flashes were used, one camera right, far away, fully zoomed to 85mm with an full orange gel, and another flash camera left, behind the model to recreate the sunset light, that was on 24mm zoom. Both flashes fired via TTL, SB600 and SB800, triggered by SU-800 commander on cord. The whole shot was taken on the top of a tower called Cliffords Tower, in the centre of York, North Yorkshire. And, lots of people were looking on to us! Great day it was
