Sunday, April 20, 2008, Alexandria Virginia: Fairfax County Police block off the right lane of US1 northbound between Denfield and Frye roads. US1 flooded Sunday afternoon, a combination of heavy rains and a blocked storm drain.
The intersections with Denfield and Greenleaf roads, each entrances to mobile home communities, were impassable.
