Thanks, Keith! This photo was taken near the southern entrance of the park, which means it's actually in the Colorado Desert (not the Mojave.. need to remove that tag!). As you know, those rocks are a dull brown during the day, but at sunrise they're a wonderful red!

btw, nice shot you posted. I love the hint of green on the desert floor..

That is a very nice image. I really like how the tips of the plants touch the edge of the moon. Where in J-Tree is that? The rocks are very red, I'm guessing around Queen Mountain? Reminds me of one I got at Panamint Valley from a wider angle...
