The oldest Russian Church in Alaska

This is the oldest standing Orthodox church in Alaska. In 1970 it was granted National Historic Landmark status and is the only church in Alaska to be granted such status. Restoration on the church began in late October 2010 and is expected to be completed by the end of February 2011.
