Comment by Brian Leng on December 7, 2011 at 5:40am: Yosemite in the Fall. Had to wait 4 hours for this shot. It looked like it wasn't going to happen, and then it just appeared out of no where and only lasted 30 minutes before the beautiful light was gone. Only to come back on another day.

We only waited for 3 hours and I wasn't sure if it was even going to happen - When we arrived at Glacier Point there was only one guy with his camera on a tripod. I asked if we should hang around and the answer was, "Why Not, We're Already Up Here"! So we waited... I was biting my fingernails to the bone, If noting happened then I was going to be in deep ----! But as luck would have it, all was Good! Oh ya, about a 1/2 hr. before this happened a large bus pulled up and out jumped ... mybe 50 photographers! But because we were there earlier, We had the primo spots!
