No upgrade necessary for me. My E-3 does everything I ask...come to think of it, so does my E-1 :)

Hi In terms of 'quality Vs Cash-Outlay'. The Oly 40-150mm f3.5 can be picked up on 'evil-bay' for between £70-£100, there is one at the moment that is at £50 (item number: 260439285074). (No affiliation with…

Hi I agree with Mike. You could also try for 'multiple-bursts' by covering the lens between 'explosions' (just use a piece of card large enough to cover the lens and hold it close to the lens without actually touching it). Good…

Hi Dan Glad you like your E-3. Not sure what the difference is between a 'gray' market import and a US model. My E-3 was intended for the Japanese market (came with 2 languages, Japanese and English). I still get full warranty from…

You have some great shots here! I love the way you use the light. The high contrast adds a special element to the photos. The footprints in the snow is wonderful. I like minimalist shots. My birthday present to myself this year was an E3 and I love it! I shoot mostly in RAW and have almost nothing to do in Photoshop. The live view lets me see exactly what I am going to get. The in-camera IS is super. I had an E300 and enjoyed using that camera, but the E3 was a step up. I found it online for almost half the price it was when it first came out. I had to make sure I told them I wanted the "retail model" not the import. The import model is really a gray market camera. Keep the great photos coming!
