Profile Information

About Me and My Photography Experience:

I am a prominent Somali photojournalist and human rights activist, who has used his camera and his writing to capture the desperate plight of the Somali civilians in the current conflict. Amnesty International has featured my images in their campaigns, including in our recent report on attacks against civilians in Somalia, Routinely Targeted.

I am not academically a photographer, but I have been working as a press photographer for 5 years and made photos in the frontline, public events, public punbishment, Internally Displaced People and Street children and child soldiers.
I have a data base of 25000 photos which I collected in 5 years.

My Photography Equipment:

I have two poor cameras, one FinePix, a fujifilm 9 MegaPixel and a Canon 1000D which I bought currently.
