Most photographers would tell you that their success is about 80% business management and 20% their photography. You have to have both, but when you start doing something for money it's a small business -- you have to treat it as such. This is…
I do not usually sign my prints on the front, but I always do include a non-removable sticker (I use the ones that you have to get a little wet before its sticky, since I found you can`t peel them off afterwards), which includes my name, website,…

Fear of the unknown & self-doubt - VS - drool & limitlessness.
About to take that major step into the abyss. Could be good.

Photographic Interest
- architectural fragments
- history of an item via marks and wear
- forgotten things
- something out of apparently nothing
- street photography
- photojournalism
- pattern, perspective, and of course texture, shadow, light, colour, composition
- erotic & kink photography
The idea of Photojournalism makes my foot wet with saliva. Street photography seems right up there also. The erotic/kink? We'll see what that shall become, in time - not a focus at the moment.
I think of my current photography generally as documentation of things that trigger my drool or make me wide-eyed with giddiness. To capture and retain something that is fleeting. To draw attention to something that would otherwise go unappreciated or unseen.
Disclaimer
Please understand that thus far, no training whatsoever, not even a habit of surrounding myself with photographers of any sort.
I also have not yet stepped into the world of the SLR. This is, of course, a known handicap.. but one has to make do so I have been focusing on composition for now. - Correction: JUST GOT ONE. Exploring now.
Superfluous
Have always known my photographic "eye" to be decent, but making the decision to raise the bar and actually change careers towards photography has been heady. It has me screening my photos with lofty expectations - I get excited over them, but desire to see what a focused effort could do.
It's all sufficiently overwhelming - transitioning a career from architecture to this.
Hi Agnieszka - I saw your edit of the wedding photo on the Photo Criticism pages and thought it was great. You have a very good eye for color and composition. Your shots at invasiveawe are impressive. You have the right idea - do what you like to do best. Post some here so we can all see and good luck with your photo career.
