Profile Information

About Me and My Photography Experience:
I've just started getting back into photography after a break of quite a few years. (In fact, back then I was using a Canon AE-1.) Now I'm rediscovering the joy of photography, the wonders of the digital age and realising my own appalling lack of photographic knowledge and technique - But the learning curve is great fun!
My Photography Equipment:
Nikon D300, Tamron 18-200 mm XR DiII and Tamron 90 mm Macro. For editing I use Apple's Aperture although I also have Lightroom 2 and Photoshop CS3. I'm also looking for a 'street' camera. The Canon G9 looks tempting but...

Welcome to Picture Social, the site for budding photographers as well as professionals. Both do some amazing work. Free advice and criticism when asked, and praise on your great work. Many groups to join like the Canon and Nikon users, Flower and Plant groups. Look around and see where you fit in. Join as many as you like. Learn from observing others works. Participate in areas you like and contribute to discussions. Add a blog, comment on others work on their pages. Most of all, enjoy this site.
