Anatoliy replied to Paulo's discussion black and white experiment in the group Photo Criticism
"Amazing photo, don't really mind the noise maybe getting rid of the noise from the sky and water would really help. Have you tried using LR for editing B/W with the color adjustments or Silver Efex Pro 2. "

Anatoliy replied to HImani's discussion Nikon or canon??
"Personally I don't like how the canon feels in my hand and the menu is a bit tricky by far.  Both of those brand are equal no one is better then the other, yes they do leap frog each other on who has better specs but in the end no one…"

Anatoliy replied to HImani's discussion Nikon or canon??
"One D5100 is not a professional camera, but you can take professional pictures with the camera. Two see which of the two brands feel best in your hands and how the button, menu, form of the camera you like the best and then go with that brand.…"

Anatoliy replied to Joseph Dwyer's discussion Can you change the RAW image size on a Nikon D7000
"I always shoot RAW but not for time lapse, if I need to edit the pictures then I do them all at once in CS5 premier pro when I have them all in the sequence that I need. There is no way that I'm about to start editing 2,000 or more pictures one…"

Anatoliy replied to Joseph Dwyer's discussion Can you change the RAW image size on a Nikon D7000
"You can compress the files in camera in the shooting menu, also change the bit form 14 down to 12bit. The real question in why would you be shooting raw when doing time lapse videos.  The settings that I use for time lapse is Medium image…"

Anatoliy replied to Greg Thompson's discussion Time for a body upgrade
"If you cant afford decent lenses for FX camera then go for the D7000 and buy FX lenses that way you will have the lenses when you decide to switch. D700 is a great camera but no point in buying it for $2500 better save up a little more and buy the…"

Welcome to Picture Social, the site for budding photographer as well as professionals. Both do some amazing work. Everyone is eager to give advice and criticism when you ask, as well as praise on your great work. There are many groups that you can join like the Canon and Nikon users, and Flower and Plant groups. Take a look around and see where you can fit in. Join as many groups as you like. Learn from observing others works. Participate in areas you like and contribute to discussions. Add a blog, comment on others work on their pages and photos. A sister site is picturecorrect.com where you can see camera reviews and many subjects about photography. Most of all, enjoy these two sites
