- About Me and My Photography Experience:
- I'm an exhibiting pop artist and recently discovered photography as a new way to occupy my mind. I'm only an amateur at photography and I'm just learning the ropes. It's only been months and I started out with my handy cell phone camera which was accessible everywhere I went. I am still experimenting with angles, subject matter, shadows and light. I'm learning what type of pictures to take at certain times of days, seasons. Not quite have a hold of all those camera buttons,bells and whistles. One thing for sure is that with art I can be weird and quirky in the privacy of my own home when I'm creating my paintings. With photography, I have to get used to being weird and quirky in public ; )

Paul Brooks said… No problem. As far as courses go, they don't really take up to much time, usually around three hours a week. You actually will be able to pick up quite a few of the main points and theories of photography just by looking around for info on this site. There is a ton of good info on here. Also, there are alot of certified teachers on here as well as more than a few very experienced professionals on here, like CameraClicker, who are very open to sharing info and opinions. Have fun and enjoy the experience with your journey into this uncharted art form.
