"Try it with the lens in the end of the pipe, the pipe can act like a giant lens hood, it should keep flare to a minimum.  If you have a lens hood, use it too."

"I'll say that the image is over exposed. for the first one you used ISO 3200, 0.62 seconds, F/29, exposure bias +1.3 on a nikon D90. Maybe if you used the shutter at 1/20 instead of .62 then you might not have had that problem."

"The images on either side show the same spots and in exactly the same positions. That would certainly have been bright light at the end of the pipe compared to the sides, f29 Lens 18 105mm"
