The 100-400 mm is also a full frame lens, not EF-S, but you can use it with the 7D as well.   The 7D has an APS-C sized sensor, so images are mechanically cropped from what they would be if they were captured with a full sized sensor. …

It is meant for full frame camera like 5DM2 just like 18-200 is meant for 7D you still can use this len on your cam but it will not be 28-135 but 44 -216.

The 28-135 is a full frame lens, it is an EF lens, not an EF-S.

Alan i think 28-135 is not meant for full frame. it works perfect on 7 D .. Am i right ?

hey Lloyd winn ..i am not selling it now.. would retain 28-135 .. instead i will dispose off my 75-300 and 70-200 F4 if needed and will pick up 100-400 and 10-22 mm. i think it will make a good combination. what do you say ?

By The way what i meant by Pro photographers . more experianced and more technical then me . and yes weight is not a problem with me at all . so i can stack and carry more lens if i want. thanks anyways .

The 2x extender adds on 2 f stops so this will increase yr f4 up to f8 so will not be very useful in low light situations but cheaper than a new lens.  I suppose it depends on what u use it for and more importantly when ie early morning or near…

You can waste your money on crap or just save it untill you have the dough for the real thing .  Canon "L -Series " is what you will want / need at some point ....... try this for lanscape and a different perspective.
