I have some ways to protect your images on your website.
opt.1. add one onto image with Photoshop
Type your logo or copyright on your image, add stroke with the text, and reduce "Fill" to 0%.
Opt.2 use Digimark for photographers.
Opt.3 Add simple text onto your images. And I have heard that there is a JavaScript disable to rihgt-click, printscreen, oe etc. Maybe someone knows....
And this is very important thing. Do NOT use a large size images on Web Site.
That's what I know. If you still want to protect your images on your Website, searching Google. There are lots of services for pro photographers and they are offering very reasonable price, though.
Hope it help! Enjoy :)
1. If your using a DSLR pretty much any pro camera brand offers an option to copyright your photos when you take them, you just set it up in your camera, and when the photos are created, it is encrypted in the files themselves... so even if you dont put any logos on your photos when you right click on your photo file, select properties, in the About or Description there will be all details of the photo, such as ISO, Lens type, Shutter Speed, Date Taken and Owner Info (the one you input on your camera) this is something that no one can change even if they steal your photo.
2. You can put your small logo/watermark on one of the corners of the photo.
3. You can make your website completely in flash, or just the photography viewing part to be in Flash, because Flash created websites dont allow the option of copying any visuals of the flash parts... you can look at my website and see that you simply cannot copy the images, unless you do a print screen, but then you wont get the full size and high-quality image. www.yangrinshtein.com
Or you can do all of the above all together and be sure it will always be protected! :)
Took me way too long to respond. Hope you are doing great
