Hi Bill ~ i am just here because of a couple of people who are nowhere else....since closing my facebook I am trying to connect in the most positive way online this year. Less is more! This is sort of an exception.
Built in 1906 by the Canadian Locomotive Company in Kingston, Ontario, this Class H-4-A 10 wheel steam locomotive is a surviving example of Stephenson valve gear with inside valve chests. Originally built for the Canadian Northern Railway, No. 83 later carried the CN No. 1223 until August 1956, when it was renumbered 1520 to accommodate newly arriving diesels. The Locomotive, owned by CNR, is on permanent loan to the Canadian Railroad Historical Association of which the museum is a divisional member. It is on long term lease to the Museum and we hope to restore it to working order.
I'm humbled by your comments! Like your images as well! I have 2 Harleys, a 1986 Softail and a 2009 FLHTC. Being a bit of a pig, I also have a 2004 Bmw 1150GS. No 4 wheel vehicles, just the 3 bikes, though my wife has a pickup that I get to use when necessary.
oh bill! no no no! you didn't appear to be pushy! on the contrary! i appreciate your input, since you have obviously been on here way longer than myself :) i posted my favorites of the whole wedding season 2009 first and then, since the last engagement session was from early 2010 and loved it, i thought to show it all. anyway, no worries!
i am looking forward to seeing your wedding photography and to participate in future discussions regarding the wedding photography business on this site. i have been at it (and loving it and full time) for the past 6 years and have lots to share with anyone who is interested! on the other hand, i am also an eager learner and look forward to insights and advice veterans with more experience than me may have.
thank you for starting the lines of communication and see you around the site!
