"I agree with the others, the cattails take the focus away from the blue heron. I have about a dozen shots of these birds I took at the marsh in Whitby and I seem to have the same results. I always leave dissapointed."

The Blue heron is beautiful and the back ground is very good as well but the out of focus cattails just ruined the shot. Much better to have left them out all together."

Unfortunately, I think the extremely, out of focus cattails are a serious distraction. I think a higher f-stop would have given a greater depth of field and made it possible to see what they actually are.…"
