Need some opinions!

hey guys, I'm a student studying photography.
I've been assigned a task to find what i think balance is in photography and/or how it relates to the history, and I've decided along with my essay to get a general opinion from others in the field.
so if you don't mind popping what you feel balance is in photography, you'd be a great help & thank you in advance!
