I use them both and am completely dependent on them both. Aperture is my storage/organization and retrieval SW, I do a decent amount of editing with it. The new version has much better editing. Aperture also bridges to PS allowing me to open a photo…
in CS3 i use the camera raw feature and straighten my horizons that way. It's very handy. I don't like a tilted horizon particularly if it's in a wedding setting (my primary work)
Principally a wedding photographer, I love to capture days of joy and enhancing those days with my presence and experience. Wildlife photography and macro photography are also very much my passion.
My Photography Equipment:
Cannon is my equipment, Right now I'm using a 40D, but hope to upgrade to a 50d by the end of wedding season. I have hotlights and strobes, and use off camera flash as often as possible.
Hello Cara and Welcome to PictureSocial. Hope you find it an enjoyable place that you can learn and maybe teach others. We do have a Canon User Group. If you are interested, you can find it under the "Groups" tab at the top of the page. Hope to see you there.
