Hello! I currently have a Canon T1i and recently the powerboard fried on it. I fixed it myself and it works fine but I would like to invest in another Camera...  Now with that being said I have had…Continue

It's a long way down!

"Hi Carrianne, You have some pretty nice pictures.  I would suggest that you not put your signature in the middle of them as that really detracts from the photo.   You asked if someone could improve this shot.  I spent about five…"

"Thanks for your help Cameraclicker! After going over different things, I think I am going to go with the 7D and take the money I saved from that and purchase a nice lens!"

"Something else:  The 7D and the rest of the APS-C bodies have a built in pop-up flash.  The APS-H and full frame bodies do not.  If you want a flash, you have to attach it.  Flash photos with the pop-up flash are not generally…"

"A full frame body is not absolutely better than an APS-C body.  It is different.  Both bodies you are considering are heavier than the T1i you have been using, because they are made to be more rugged.  The 7d has dual processors, 18…"

Looking to buy a new Camera and a bit confused!

Hello! I currently have a Canon T1i and recently the powerboard fried on it. I fixed it myself and it works fine but I would like to invest in another Camera...  Now with that being said I have had my eye on the Canon 5d mark II  and the Canon 7D. Is there that much of a difference between a crop sensor and full frame sensor? I guess in other words is one better than the other? I take portrait photography quite a bit, but I love to take pictures of waterfalls and other…See More

About Me and My Photography Experience:
I am only a year and a half old when it comes to advancing in photography. Until then I always had a point and shoot camera,Polaroid, and the quick click film cameras. I've always loved to take pictures( I think I got this from my grandfather). as I got older I find myself wanting to know more or do more things with it. During college I always walked by the photography class wishing I was there rather than Biology. Instead of going to the practicum room for nursing, I was outside taking pictures of flowers and the wildlife on the campus.

I Joined this site to look for advice and friends experienced or not. I see a lot of great pictures on here and dream that one day my images will be just as good. I don't post alot of pictures at a time, I'm usually busy reading on one of the forums, but please feel free to comment good or bad on the ones I do post. I am eager to learn what I did wrong or what I could do to improve!
My Photography Equipment:
Canon Rebel T1i. Im not one for the war of Canon or Nikon or how expensive my camera is. I choose the camera I did because I liked the way it felt in my hand!
