I am an artist at heart. Some of my hobbies are photography, painting, drawing and blowing glass. I was invited onto the site by a very good friend of mine, who has given me many pointers and much advice to help me be a better photographer. Without him, many of the settings on my camera would never be used! I am sharing my pictures here, to gain constructive criticism. You can grow and be better at your passion with others guiding you. I am using a simple point-n-shoot digital camera, and a DSLR Canon Rebel XTi. Thank you for taking the time to view my pictures. I am here to grow and learn!
Hello Christina, Thanks for the cooment on my pics, yours are very nice too.
Re Lady Bay, it is situated not far from where we live in the State of South Australia. The area is called the Fleurieu Peninsula and a very photogenic area.
Hi Christina...from across the river. I live in the Alton area. Your pics remind me of home...LOL! Perhaps our paths will cross someday! Enjoyed your artistry. Take a look at my photographs too. Mare
Hey! Good to hear from you. Yes, the warm weather has really energized me. To make it even better I'm on spring break this week! Already have new photos to post and hope to get out and shoot more architecture.
Thanks for the input. I tranfered over from flickr the other day and have found the people in this online community a lot more helpful and friendly. I Browsed through some of your pictures and I thought a lot of them were great. I noticed you had a picture of the St. Louis Arch. Do you live near there or were you on vacation? We used to be stationed about 45 minutes from there. Thanks again.
I agree, we both seemed to let those archways with the glass tendrils catch our eye. I found someone on DeviantART who also got a picture of the same archway. I'll have more soon. I know there are a few images I have that I haven't uploaded yet. Going to do that today.
