I had a good long time question my abilities as a photographer and came to the conclusion that no matter what, it makes me happy. I get exctied when I get a great shot. It shouldn't matter that there are people out there that don't appreciate my work. Because I do!
Your simply stunning photo is just that, the lighting is perfect, and i like the border. The other pictures seem like something I would see on a DVD or some music CD cover, very nice work . :)
Hi Christine, I see a lot of growth. These latest photos with the model are very dramatic. I kind of see that Dave Hill "dragan effect" in a number of your latest photos. Taking nothing from the great work you did here In addition to the other great photos with the model I would have also enjoyed seeing a softer side of the model leaving by the railroad tracks. Perhaps a little sorrow or vulnerability. The strong tough woman thing is cool, but there is a lot to be said for sugar and spice and everything nice too. Not only is a certain innocent vulnerability like catnip to most of us guys, a lot of woman find it easier to relate to and sympathize with. I think she could have even been both strong and vulnerable. It would have added another dimension to the story telling quality of the photos.
That's a fair statement and I would not disagree. Unfortunately, there are people that take advantage or do not use these type of sites as they should. I understand that you were just expressing your feelings on that matter. There were just a few statements made that many would find quite argumentative and I truly respect your right to those opinions. Unless the folks who run the site decide to put restrictions in place, the issues you wished to bring to bear will continue.
