Budding photographer trying to turn my passion for digital art into a life...Full time PA for an orthopedic group so, creative time with my camera and Photoshop is valued time for me. Just published a web site www.photodesignfx.com in Jan. 09'. hope you like my photo's....
Hi Christopher! Although a great many of my photos look like HDR they are not. They are Dynamic but they are not multiple exposures or pseudo HDRs. I don't use an HDR software to process them. Now I do have a few HDR photos but it is likely that the photos that you saw weren't HDR. I am very comfortable with Photoshop having used it as a web UI designer for years and have developed my own Post processing technique that give my photos a very dynamic look. I use a lot of layers and layer masks along with dodge and burn to get the look. I use a Nik filter "Silver efex pro" a Photoshop plugin to convert from color to b&w.
Hello Christopher and Welcome to PictureSocial. Hope you find it an enjoyable place that you can learn and maybe teach others. We do have a Canon User Group. If you are interested, you can find it under the "Groups" tab at the top of the page. Hope to see you there.
