About Me and My Photography Experience:: I'm a student studying photography at Inver Hills Community College. I hope to learn new things and hope to get feedback on my work.

An update: I am hoping to get a scholarship to the Art Institutes International Minnesota to earn a Bachelor's degree in photography!

18-55mm IS lens
70-300mm IS lens with UV filter and hood
50mm f1.8 prime- I love the Nifty Fifty!

Thank you for the kind words on my photo. I took this at the zoo, Fortunately for me, the sun was angled just right to get the light and dark areas. There was some sun spots in the dark area, I just burned those a wee bit in photo shot so that they weren't a distraction.

The airshow itself featured a Sea King, RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) Air one Eurocopter and the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, aswell as a sorta unofficial show, of the Canadian Coast Guard Hover Craft. And I'd also encourage you to try to shoot 'less important' games. While shooting major college football games are pretty exciting, you usually get much better access and a lot more space at a high school game. Granted, the lighting conditions are usually worse -- so try to get a lot shot early in the football season (rather than when it gets darker earlier). Other than that, I'd just say start shooting. Don't be afraid to move around. If you aren't shooting for anyone, feel free to experiment to find out what comes easy for you and what unique shots you want to try to get.
