Christy you have a lot of wonderful photos.  Great angles and ideas.  You are the type that could make a pro.  If you want to pursue that, I would suggest getting a photography degree from a place like the New York Instutite of Photogaphy  http://www.nyip.com or something similar. Your model is pretty good too.

That's a good way to learn, on your own, and trial and error. Everyone has their own techniques, as well as they use others'. I have found that creating your own style, or finding it, is the way to go, and the way to do that is just the way you've described. Good luck!
