- About Me and My Photography Experience:
- Nice to meet you! We're Vanessa and Jessica and we have been working as a team for about 6 years. Combined we have worked in the retail side of photography for over 10 years. We grew tired of the cold 15 minutes sessions and stressful atmosphere. We realized our creativity was very limited, too controlled and rushed by corporate.
It took months of planning and brainstorming on how we could change the customer’s photography experience. We know that our photography was a God given gift and we wanted to use it to the fullest! With that in mind, Contemporary Portraits was born. We like to say that we shoot classic, creative portraits with a contemporary flare.
As wedding photographers, we treat our future newlyweds as if they are our only clients. On there wedding day, we are there from the moment they start getting ready for there big day, to the time they depart as husband and wife. We also make it our goal to capture all of the details that sometimes get overlooked but took many months to prepare.
We love our job and feel that it is a blessing to do what we love for a living. We spend so much time and emotions with our clients. If anyone has any questions, we are there to help everyone out as much as we can!

- I'm from covington,la . your photos are so sharp I'm having issues with that right now. I'm trying to figure it out. I'm use to shooting with film. this is my first digital SLR (canon50d). i think it has to do with lighting. if i upload some photos will you come look at them and give me some feedback. this is my side job for right now. one day it will be my mane job.
