I got myself a "proper" camera last year and have been having great fun learning how to use it. I've just started using manual mode which is quite scary, and it feels as though I'm at the start of a very long path of learning how to take good pictures. But. oh, I love it!
Hi Croila, welcome to Picture Social. Your photos are beautiful. You have a great eye for composition. I was in Scotland for a short time many years ago and I still remember the beauty of the countryside and the warmth of the people. Your photographs with the fog and mist look like our home in northern California in the U.S. There is a place south of us known as "the lost coast" that has hills similar to areas in the highlands. I guess it is the Stewart blood in my veins that makes me love Scotland. My wife and I hope to visit there in the next couple of years. I will be looking forward to seeing more of your photos.
