Yep, the 10 - 22 is a great lens. A little distortion on the edges, but that is to be expected with a lens that wide. Keep your subject in the center.
I personally would go with the 17 - 85 because I really enjoy the wide-angle. But if I had to choose between the lenses you mention, go with the 24- 70. This might be against conventional wisdom for sports but you can always crop in on pictures if n…
