So nice - I love the soft edges. I need to do something like this with one of my nieces before my big belly goes away (well, let's hope it goes away after November!). :-)
LOVE B & W!!!! Here is my first entry.
Don't feel to bad, I moved away from Connecticut 4 years ago to Florida and I have not had a chance to use my DSLR in the snow. Maybe after the babys born well go To CT for the holidays. I would have to go into archives to get old snow pictures.
This would have made a great Dc challenge! good thinking.

- About Me:
- I grew up in Connecticut moving to Florida 3 years ago. I have always loved photography. I used to help my father develop pictures in his dark room when I was a little girl. I had several kodak easy share cameras before getting my XSI. It is my first DSLR camera and I love it. I am still learning how to use it. I am looking forward to all your help and please feel free to criticize my photos! Tell me what I did wrong or what I could have done better. I will take it as a learning experience and it will only make me a better photographer. I am hoping to return to school for digital photography and one day open my own business. I enjoy taking shots of sunsets, anything outdoors, my son, friends and family and I am determined to get shots of lightning and attempt HDR photos. I am here to met new people and learn so.....please share your knowledge with me!!

shadowing my first photo shoot
Today is an exciting day for me. I am going to be "shadowing" my first photo shoot. The photographer is the father in law of a great friend to the family, they know my passion for photography and wanting to get better at it. So they asked me if I would be interesting in spending the day learning! who would say no to that! I will be learning my camera as well as film camera. Scott Milner said… - Nice shots, Denise. If you want to try HDR photography get a program called Photomatix Pro. It is the best out there and its not to expensive. I do a lot of HDR, and you can see many of them on my website. www.smimagery.com . If you have any questions about it I would be glad to help. Scott M

I do the mail-in course. I pay and they send me a different course until I graduate. I'm doin' it to have some type of degree and to see what they know. I have a Gospel Artist coming out with a CD that I did the Shoot for so I got that goin for me.I have until 2011 to finish, I like that. Not a bad school all in all. I love it. you have some good shots, I can't wait to get back to South Beach and catch some shots of the sunrise and sunset.

- I was just thinking of you this morning. I'm ok but I was sick last week with a pretty bad cold. I rarely get sick but this one got me. Much better this week but I have not been out shooting much. Things are pretty blah right now, trees are still bare, no snow to make it look nice, no flowers or leaves yet. But, I always keep my camera ready in case of any interesting weather or some other form of inspiration hits me. How about you? BTW, I like the dirt bike and ATV pics.
