Thanks for commenting on my photos. I find your works interesting as well. I was amazed to see your comments about shooting for 50 years then realized I have been doing it for probably 39 years...the time flys.
I was interested to see you have done theatre photography...I did some still shots many years ago. I wish i had the opportunity to do it again now.

Hello Dan,
Gold Beach looks like a nice place to be even in the fog. The fishing boat was a real bonus in the photo. It pays to be patient in photography. Shetland, where I live, is very nice in good weather. I don't mind the gales that we are having just now as it provides a real challenge when taking photos of the sea. Don't like the power cuts that we sometimes have with the gales, though.

Last night we saw a documentary film titled, "Windfall" that tells the truth about wind energy. Shell WindEnergy wants to place 25 giant (450 foot tall) industrial wind turbines on the pristine ridge behind our town. The carbon footprint it takes to get these monsters makes me wonder if there is any real advantage.
