- About Me and My Photography Experience:
- I just got my first decent camera about four months ago and have been shooting ever since. I have always had an interest and my mother is a award winning photographer. I guess I was just raised looking at beautiful photography and now I know what to capture
- My Photography Equipment:
- Nikon D300, but I use my D90 the most

It is a precious gift isn't it? For those of us who have access to a camera, even if its not a fancy one, its easy to take for granted the preciousness of a photograph. I don't just do this for the holidays, and the project is still growing.
I am not a professional photographer, nor do I have any fancy equipment, but I do know how much a photograph can mean to someone who doesn't have access many resources. We have done free photo shoots for low-income mom's on Mothers Day, free photo shoots at family shelters, and much more. I am sure the people who you photograph for who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford it are very grateful.

Michael said… - Thanks Danielle! for the great comments. Regarding "The barn yard" photo I used a series of layer mask to give it a more dynamic look. I developed a technique a while back that adds tonal contrast to my photos and makes them look less flat and gives them more dimension.
