"Great shot! Living in southern Florida, I've had several opprotunities to photograph eagles. However, I would love to do so in "snow" country. It really tops off your shot. Beautiful!"

The moon shot was taken with a Zenit E, a Russian SLR from the early 1970's and a Russian lens, I think a Jupiter.....about 200 mm on a tripod. Then scanned into the computer on a Minolta Dimage Scan Duall III film scanner and cropped. The secret to "moonshots" is don't forget you are shooting at reflected sunlight.....so f-stop is usually F-16 or higher, depending on film speed. We think because it's dark you have to open up the aperture....WRONG! :)
