"If you add a watermark to an image ,at least make it a symbol or a name. I made a symbol (shape) with PSCs5. It was definitely a learning experience cause I never use the Pen Tool. I saw one supposed watermark and that's all it said was…"

"In short, wrong.  When you create an image, even just by clicking a shutter, you instantly own the copyright to that image. Registering it is just a way to more easily prove it's your image and when you first claimed to own it. Probably…"

Copyrights anyone?????

Okay, so I have several web sites I post some images on. I put a water mark on my photographs because they are mine. In order to copyright a photo it has to be registered with the national copyright people right? I take thousands of photographs of sporting events and kids playing, just everyday photos. Do I have to pay the 149.00 US dollars to obtain a legal copyright on each photo I post? Can anyone explain to me or steer me in the direction I need to go in to understand these copyright laws?…See More

Profile Information

About Me and My Photography Experience:
Most of my experience in photography is on a Pentax K1000. I am self taught, and have been photographing for the past 18 years off and on. I was real reluctant to move into the digital age. However film has become so expensive, and hard to find darkroom products have become thin in my area. This year I decided to go digital. However I will not get ride of my film cameras. I still hold on to the fact that it takes real talent to get what you want in a photograph, across on film.
My Photography Equipment:
I use a Nikon D300S, two nikon D3100's a Pentax K1000, and a Pentax ME Super.

Dave, here is a link to another tutorial.  It uses Photoshop but all of it applies to using PSP as well.  In the layers box on the lower right in PSP you have a black and white circle (must have an image opened in the Edit mode) where you can find all these adjustments.  You can re-adjust them any time or turn them on and off (using the eye icon) or delete them.

Let me know if you will be passing through Farmington, NM.  Maybe we can meet.
