in CS3 i use the camera raw feature and straighten my horizons that way. It's very handy. I don't like a tilted horizon particularly if it's in a wedding setting (my primary work)
grate job
varey cool
It depends on the photo. Some I want straight, others tilted. I'd prefer to get it right (whichever way that is) in-camera, but if I don't I've got no problems squaring them up in PS just as I did in the darkroom printing under an enlarger.

Profile Information

About Me:
My dad was a photographer. I got my first camera, a Brownie, in kindergarten. Ever since then, I've had an avid interest in photography, mostly landscapes, but lately I've developed an additional interest in portraits.

In 1998, I met the most amazing woman online. We met in person four years later, and married in 2004. Since she lived in Australia, one of us had to move and it turned out to be me.
What Photography Equipment do you Use?
I've gone from a 3.34 Megapixel Nikon Coolpix and worked my way through 4.0, 5.2 and 8.1 Megapixel cameras before settling in on what I believe to be the best digital under $1000 - the Panasonic FZ-50, 10.1 Megapixel camera with 12x zoom. Once again, I'm thinking of upgrading - it will either be Cannon or Nikon, but I have a lot of research to do first.

For image enhancement, I use Photoshop CS3.

Photoshop CS3 Malfunction - Help !!!

All of a sudden, CS3 no longer offers me the choice of saving RAW files in the jpeg format. I thought it might be something to do with my new Nikon, but I haven't installed any of the software that came with it. I went back to RAW photo files taken with my Panasonic FZ-50, and the same thing happened - no jpeg option, so I'm concluding the problem is not specific to the brand of camera and must be something that happened in the CS3 program itself. I can save a RAW file as a TIFF, but those are a… Continue

Dear sir.
In early September, you commented on this picture. It wasn’t until just now that I learned to reply and I invite constructive criticism.

You mentioned other such snapshot. I'd appreciate an example of each and why one is a snapshot while the other is photograph. You can use photos from others or yourself.

(An yes...I was advised by a member her to post every shot.)
