Dan Tubbs, Jr. said… - Hi Denise, I too love to shoot with natural light. I would rather take the time to set up my tripod and use a low ISO and longer exposure than to use artificial light. There are times when I need to use the flash for fill like when the background is too bright. The problem is that sometimes the flash over exposes the subject. Fortunately on my camera I can adjust the amount of light from my flash. Another way to handle the flash is to bounce the light off a reflector or the ceiling. The best way to learn is to experiment with your ISO, lens opening and speed. The most important thing is to enjoy taking photos.
