Ive been playing with camera's seriously for about 6yrs. I have been into photography for as long as i can remember.
I dont find the "studio" being a comfortable environment, ide much rather be out and about, Im not trigger happy, i usually take the time for each photograph. I once waited 6hours straight for the perfect photo. I wouldnt consider myself an enthusiast or even an amateur, since photography has overtaken my life and is my greatest passion, it truly is a lifestyle. Looking forward to posting on this site!
I dont shoot digi, although ive owned a few bodies such as the Nikon D80 and D2h along with the Canon 10D 20D.
Ive always ended up selling them for more glass and film.
My Photography Equipment:
Ive used alot of different systems. Mainly NIkon.
My first SLR was a Minolta XG-7 with a nice little stash of MD glass.
Currently im in a low spot due to the economy and all the trouble finding steady work, ive had to sell off a lot of my gear.
Right now im using (heavily):
Minolta X-700 MD-1 (Back)
Minolta XG-9 AW-G (Main)
MD 28mm f2.8 Rokkor-X
MD 50mm f1.4
MD 85mm f2 Rokkor-X
Super Takumar 50mm f1.4
Super Takumar 135mm f3.5
Super Takumar 35mm f3.5
Along with other M42 lenses with M42 to MC/MD adaptor
Although to you this gear may seem inadequate, without all the switchs and dials of modern camera's and lenses. I challenge you to use my gear and pull the same photograph's you edit in PS.
I also use a variety of Fuji, Kodak, and Ilford films.
