Nice composition with perfect exposure, I think a little crop is requried in the lower part, I think so I may be wrong, sorry

You do have the ability to make some stunning shots.. like this one. There may be a few people who would think this overdone, but this is dramatic and the orange is intense

Very nice simple composition. The little triangle of pans is cool, i love the black and white and the square crop-suits it

- About Me and My Photography Experience:
- Retired living in Michigan's Upper Peninsula (Copper Country)USA., 4yrs. Naval Aerial Photographer Jacksonville Fla.(NAS).,Cuba '60. , JPL (NASA), Pasadena Calif., wedding photographer, free lance photographer, ceramic studio owner and instructor (past), making industrial TV commercials. I'm mainly a picture taker of old buildings, windows, doors, barn sides and anything made of old wood and rusted objects. I love creating with my camera first, then with the computer enriching colors and bringing out the hidden textures of the subject material in wood, stone, water and foliage and metal objects, I use the computer as my darkroom, and I hope to learn something new every time I press the shutter.
p.s. I don't play by the book., and I over saturate a lot., just my style, as the saying goes., I like mixing it up.

- Kodak Z7590 (a old clunker) Schneider Kreuznach Xenar wide angle lens.

Tony Taffinder said… - "Blue Velvet 3" It's a beautifully observed and realised shot Don. The composition, contrast, saturation and exposure are all perfect in my opinion and for such an apparently simple image there's so much to look at.
The tones and textures in the wall punctuated by the nail heads, the light on the window frame, the creases in the fabric leading the eye to the shreds and through to the other window on the opposite side of the room and then the light outside beyond that window. It's a masterpiece my friend and as I said, I hope you're very proud of it, I know I would be.

- "Water and Grit" Cheers Don. I wish there hadn't been quite so much have in the atmosphere, it caused such a loss of detail in the distance and upset the exposure of the sky.
