About Me and My Photography Experience:
I am a Chiropractor who enjoys hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, backpacking and traveling. My interest in photography is a natural way to enhance and remember my journeys.
My Photography Equipment:
Nikon D40x but many of my posted photos predate that. Some were shot with a Minolta Maxim. Some I don't even remember what camera I had and one is even shot with a 110 Kodak Instamatic!

A Trip To Europe Then and Now...Equipment

When I was last in Europe, at the tender age of twenty-three and prior to the emergence of my inner photographer, I carried with me a Kodak 110mm Pocket Instamatic camera and usually 1-2 spare rolls of film. That was the total summation of my photography equipment. A Trip To Europe Then and Now

After much hoping, dreaming, attracting and saving, my wife, daughter and I have decided to take a trip to the south of Spain. In part to visit my other daughter, Carly, who is finishing up a semester abroad. We are all very excited. While we have taken several family vacations, this will be the most extensive and the first time we will all be going to Europe together.

Hi Hank,

I'm happy that you like my work. As far as my sky work goes, I try to find a good skyscape above my subject before shooting. Then tone map it slightly it in post, to bring out those wispy hard-to-see parts.
