"I have seen cane handles that look just like your bird! It has quite the beak! Your flash has burned out the white under the bird's eye and hidden some texture in the neck feathers.

"Did it click? With an external flash, angle it at 45 degrees, then rotate the head so it points backwards. Reverse bounce. Works best indoors with light walls and white ceilings."

The hair just behind the nose is in sharp focus. The eyes and hair around the eyes are quite soft, even when opened to full size."
