I am currently a Network Engineer by trade. I have done a few things in my life. While in the Air Force (1976-1985), I was in the Security Police career field. While in the Air Force I also bread and showed Alaskan Malamutes. When I got out I did security and P.I. work for a while. I used to do a lot of 35mm film photography in the late 70's and early 80's. I had my own enlarger and used to enlarge shots up to 16x20. All that went to my ex in the divorce, so for close to 20 years I did not do any photography. I started up again from scratch just within the last couple of years, where I got into digital. I love taking pictures of nature, just pretty much anything outdoors. More about me can be seen at my website listed below.
My Photography Equipment:
I currently use a Canon 50D with the following lenses:

Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6
Sigma 18-200 f/3.5-6.3 DC OS - *** FOR SALE ***
A Manfrotto 190 CF TRIPOD-Q90-3 SECTION tripod and the 3265 Joystick Head. I have a Manfrotto Monopod that has come in very handy at times.
I just picked up the Canon TC-80N3 (Timer Remote Controller). It will definitely come in handy on any future moon shots.
This group is for discussion of the Canon digital & 35mm camera systems and other topics of interest to Canon users. In other words... ALL THINGS CANON.
Thanks Earl,
Look forward to making new friends and learning as well. Still getting to grips with DSLR after spending most of my life with range-finders.

So far, I did join a group for my type of Camera...it's a start; so many to choose from. It will take me a little time to search them all.
I am happy to have found this website and look forward to interacting with others who have an affinity to photography as much as I do.
