THANKS BRIAN. I took a 3 hour walk today & run into some flowers on one of our main streets & the one with the bee is one of my neighbors flowers. I enjoy the walk & took TONS of pictures. I LOVE IT...

- About Me:
- Older photographer. Surface Science Research Associate...Univ. of Maine. Aircraft maintenance technical writer. I would like to be a great photographer.
Favorite photographer; Ansel Adams...who said "white to black are infinite shades of gray". Favorite photo of mine..."Three Brothers"
Favorite things to do; Click, bang, stargaze and tasting life. IE Photograph, shoot tiny holes in paper targets, gaze (study) at the night sky, soaking up everything into my pleasure sensors.
My start in digital photography was a clunky HP 215. Soon migrated to a Minolta F100. Then a Kodak P850 which was a very good camera. Now I use a Canon and am learning its functions. My work runs from black and white photos of any subject, to nature, geology to minerals, animals, flowers, seascapes, landscapes, people doing what they do.
Favorite photographic area;Anywhere In the woods, Newfoundland Canada, Alaska, British Columbia...Yukon Territory, my own yard AND anywhere there are subjects THAT PLEASE MY EYE.
- What Photography Equipment do you Use?
- Kodak P850 which was a very good camera, Canon Rebel EOS XTI. Microscope, Web cam hooked to microscope, scanner....Adobe PS, Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2.

I will Check it out for sure. I also belong to other sites which I'm a bit more active. I belond to Redbubble user name is mikej, I belong to eyefetch and user name mikej I also recently joined flicker same user name. There are so many sites out there and I really enjoy meeting the new folks. Redbubble has really been a home for me because it is an artist site with many painter's writers and cartoonists. I dabble in it all.
I have been learning Photoshop CS3 for the last year and love it and recently upgraded to CS4.
