My first ever camera was a a Barbie camera that took 110 film. Probably the coolest thing I ever got for Christmas and I still have it. Throughout the years I had cheap camera from Wal-Mart that didn't much to me at all and I used a lot of disposables. Then, digital became popular and I went out a bought a 4 mega pixel Canon and thought I was set. Then a few years later DSLRs started becoming more popular but I couldn't afford one, so my parents bought me a new digital Canon with 8 mega pixels, well I've had since, and it's done be pretty well. But in the past few months I have dragged out my father's old Pentax ME Super SLR and it has been AMAZING. I've taken a good 7 rolls or so with it, but the cost of developing has gone up...a lot, so I try not to go to crazy. I would pick film over digital ANY DAY. I'm a pretty visual person and was in the special program at my high school for visual arts, so I got to do a bit of photography in that class, but at that point I didn't have the film camera working. Needless to say, film is more of an experience to me. I put much more thought into snapping a picture with that camera, then I would any other.
My Photography Equipment:
Canon Powershot S5IS
35mm Pentax ME Super with Makinon 72mm macro lens and standard 49mm lens.
