I have just received a message that states that the new D800 is not a replacement for the D700, the D800 is a new camera. That is from a Nikon employee who will not pass any more information on but he has promised to send me some files from the D800.

- thanks or the info. it helps, and teaches me some basics of high speeds. i was actually thinking more in the direction of fast movement capturing, say i want to capture my dog grabbing a tennis ball in mid air. do i still need the speedlight for this. i am still very much confused with using different shutter speeds, and what speed to use with which picture. thanks for your valuable insets.

- hi Fred. captured some birds in the backyard with the burst function @ 3fps, which is a new and exiting thing for me. one question please. i capture the bird in flight, but the wings are blurred. what setting should i use with my D3100 to capture clear action or high speed motion please. thanks for helping out man!
