Afghanistan

So its been a while since ive uploaded anything. Thats becuase I am deployed to Afghanistan currently and cant wait to get back home safe and share the photos i have taken with every one.
However i need some help while i am here. I am shooting with 1DS Mark ii which is great how ever i am having issue with my sensor. Its dirty and the container i packed my sensor cleaning kit is no longer getting shipped and i need to clean my sensor bad. Any suggestions to how i can clean the…
Continue Tamron wide lens for Canon

So i am thinking about getting a wider lens and i was wondering if any one have used or know anything about Tamron Lens. I went to there website and it sounds pretty good but i wanted to know if any one has actually used it.

Dan Tubbs, Jr. said… Hi Gagan, I enjoyed looking through your photos. You have some great shots here. Sorry to hear about your sensor problem. That was one of the reasons I went with Olympus when I bought my DSLR. They were the first with a automatic sensor cleaning system in the camera. (That and few other great innovations!) I hope you are able to get your senson cleaned. Watch your 6 and stay safe. Thank you for your service to our country.

Ron said… Hi Gagan, I use a Tamron 10 - 24mm zoom and really like it. It will focus to a few inches but is great for car and scenic shots as well. What ever one you end up with , I would recommend checking out the Marumi CP filters on Amazon. You want a thin filter for wide angle and this one is great.

Jared Weaver said… - The Canon lens is good too. My hangup with Canon EF lenses is the little extra you pay for the Canon name. Once you make the decision to upgrade again, I would recommend the Canon L series though. They're the best professional grade lenses on the market. Their Fisheyes, primes, and telephoto lenses are unmatched.
