G'day mate,
Thanks for the kind words regards my pics, I got a long way to go yet, and I'm sure I'll enjoy the journey !
Yeah Gary we normally travell twice a year , usually for the Supers & the MOTOGP. This year we gave the supers a miss and went to the Motorcycle Island Classic- end of Jan 'round Aust Day.
We went to the 1st one in 1994- jeez showin my age now! The guys I hang around with are into the classics a bit more. The nice thing about classic meetings is you can walk around the pits , thru the garages , talk to the riders and builders of the machines.
The Vincent pic was taken at the Barry Sheene Memorial meeting at Eastern Ck at Easter, a race meet that I go to every year. It was in the Show and shine, couldn't resist a pic or two.
Maybe we'll bump into each other come October with a bit of luck my photography will have improved heaps just don't know what direction i'll go, but there is one thing for sure---always be taking pics of bikes Regards , Jonesy.
G'day Gary, just new on this site and been lurking around different areas and came across your stuff. I'm just a newbie amateur and after looking at your pics I can only find inspiration,
truly wonderfull stuff!
Is that Nitro Nori as your avatar? Regards, Jonesy.
I love the 10D. Haven't had any issues with it whatsoever. I purchased it from a friend of mine (who never had any problems) and I just can't put it down. I very rarely ever leave home without it. I use a 28-300mm lens that I feel is tops for a variety of shots and a great all around lens. I'm a big Canon fan as all of my cameras (with the exception of a Minolta SLRs here and there), printers, scanners...etc, are all Canon Products. You've got some great photos.....keep em coming.
